| A gloomy August for Live Search |
A similar trend pattern over many months: August 2008 is the 5th month in a row in which Google has recorded the highest growth in points: +0.05 this month, representing visit share of 90.77%.
Yahoo! in second place (2.84%), AOL in fourth place (1.51%) and Orange in fifth place (1.34%) remained consistent in July and August. However, Live Search, in 3rd place (2.21%), experienced the biggest drop in the top 10.
There are no changes to places 6 to 10 of this hit-parade, with, in order of appearance: Free, Alice, Ask (with the highest progress in proportion to its visit share: +19%), Altavista and lastly Seznam.
