In the face of this overwhelming lead, Orange's share of visits has stayed constant since May 2008, unlike the rest of the top 5 search engines |
April, May, June and now July 2008: for the 4th consecutive month, Google has gained the most ground. Up 0.11 point for the month, the frontrunner by far now attracts 90.72% of visits.
As in June, second-ranked Yahoo! (2.84%), Live Search, 3rd (2.30%), and AOL, 4th (1.50%) are continuing to lose ground. Only Orange, 5th, has managed to stabilize its share of visits at 1.35% over the past 2 months.
Ranks 6 to 10 are held respectively by Free, Alice, Ask, AltaVista and Seznam, with Ask and Seznam performing well in July 2008 (relative to their share of visits, which is below the 1% threshold).
